This is my home track where I raced stock cars for many years.
Each race is $3000.00 to win, and last place pays $400.00.
Meanwhile we are currently paying $700.00 + to enter, and road racing for what….zero to win?1f3c6.png
Yeah, that’s right. Zero.

I feel you...I think we have spent almost $12K on the car, spare parts, rental house...for Daytona ChampCar so far, and we aren't even there yet.

Payout if you win...$0.00.
This will be my last year....after that Frankenstang will be on the chopping block.
The cost to campaign this thing is just ludicrous, and for what...zero to win?
It's insulting.

When retirement kicks in.............You will still dream of racing.........that don't go away that quick................................
No, but I won't be able to afford this nonsense....not that I can afford it now.

Yeah...but by the time you sell everything in CA and move to AL or TX, you can buy that...a house in either state and have money left to race for the next year.
I'll be lucky to afford rent.

California is bleeding us dry....now they want to tax us for leaving....can you believe that?
If you move away to avoid their oppressive taxation, they will charge us tax for that too!
One last screwing on the way out...its insane.
