Well. From off the podium to 2nd place in less than an hour. I'll take it over the alternative. So did BoP hit the GTs too hard or was the driving just better from the rest of the field? Beyond 2nd place, the other GTs placed 6th, 7th and 11th places.

And Ford beat Ferrari! Easy to complain about BoP but everyone was complaining about the Ford GT's last year. Even with the changes Ford still had a podium finish.
That's a great result. You could see the Ferraris walking away from the GTs on the Mulsanne sections...just slightly faster through there but enough to stay ahead, at least in the night when it was cold. I'm assuming the GTs became more potent in the warmer temperatures towards the end of the race.

A couple of videos of Ken Block with a GT.
Some discussion on You Tube that the GT's were made to reduce boost again by another 2 lbs and some extra weight added..again. Looks like Corvette Racing gang was lobbying
