@SVTRIDE Guy, welcome to TMO. We’ve been around since shortly after the Boss 302 was announced in 2010. Post some photos of your car when you can.

Thank you all for the welcome. I look forward to being a frequent contributor.
Here is my 2017 w/ electronics pkg day I brought it home. Not many miles but I did put in a MGW shifter, WC Lathe Werks Hybrid Piston shift knob, deleted the stripes this winter (just realized I trashed $475 per window sticker). Couldn't handle the orange peel look to them plus they were peeling of at the deck lid spoiler.
Hope to see some members around the midwest sometime.

Well, now I can't get up from behind my desk. Beautiful car.

My name is Paul. I live in Santa Fe, NM. I’ve had a few Mustangs since 1988. First was an 89 5.0 notchback. That was a lot of bang for the buck. Had great fun with that car. Then I got a 95 GTS, which left me somewhat underwhelmed. Next was a 98 SVT Cobra, which I really enjoyed. My most recent Mustang was an 04 Mach1. I loved that car, but after 10 years I passed it on to a young man from Rapid City, South Dakota. This is embarrassing, but I’m currently driving a 2010 Focus. I hope to get into another performance Mustang, the sooner the better.

Byron Phillips here. Live outside Huntsville, Alabama. I have a 96 GT that’s been thru a few iterations but currently sports a Coyote swap, full MM front suspension, build 04 IRS with T2 Torsen and coilovers. I just picked up a 2017 GT350. I’ve been auto crossing the GT since around 2002. Now I’ve switched to mostly track days. And I’m still slow.
Current state of the GT.

Yes, Barber is lots of fun. No super fast areas but lots of elevation change and interesting turns. Haven’t been on track in a year because I melted the old engine down at Barber last year.

Sorry Grant I don’t have any completed pictures of the swap. But I do have a video of it running before all the wiring was buttoned up. That I can’t seem to find right now. How’s this? it’s the power steering reservoir and expansion tank mounting. It’s the only picture I have. Maybe I should start a thread for the car and all it’s mods and adventures.

Hello Im David, and Im fairly new to the road course scene. I have about five years of autocross and three years of time attack at a fairly short track. At the beginning of the year I got a membership at a local road course track up here in Canada and get all the track time i can handle and Im learning quick. I drive a 2010 gt with a slightly upgraded 3v, just intake, exhaust, and cams. The suspension has been completely replaced and run nt01s. I do ok at the track which is dominated by porches and bmws. Ive done all the work myself with alot of advice and help from experienced racers on FB. Looking forward learning more from you all.
