I say keep the name and start a Celeste Owner 2 (or 3) build thread. Not sure if renaming a car is quite as bad as renaming a boat, but I wouldn't want to chance it. And doing the full boat-style renaming ceremony would mean deleting the original Celeste build thread, which doesn't seem right.

When is she coming to IL?

I am hopping on a flight tomorrow morning and will be landing in Nashville at 10am. Current owner is meeting me at the airport with Celeste on a trailer, we will unload somewhere in town, and my plan is to start the drive back to IL by noon. Should be home by 8pm or so.

I think she will need an oil change, brake bleed, and maybe a diff fluid change before the track weekend end of this month. Have been meaning to call you and ask for your recommendation on whether the transmission fluid should be changed from that break in period from Calimer (or whether it still needs the break in).

It will not need a break-in. I did that before I sold it and he has been driving it around. SRF for brakes and I was using Amsoil for oil. Dont think the diff will need anything as that was done with the new trans.

Good luck on drive back. Weather has improved. I drove BQuick back from PITS (home to South Haven) early to beat the snow.

Thanks for that.

Does the car take the standard 8 quarts of engine oil with the boss oil pan that is on there? Planning on doing the oil change and brakes myself.

No need for a transmission drain and fill after that break in period?

Correct. I think James might have done some of this as well. He is as picky as I am with fluids.
