Like the box and hold down. If in the cockpit it needs to be properly secured and isolated.

That's the smallest plastic ATV battery box I could find and the battery is tiny so that box is stuffed with foam.
The frame I made from aluminum angle and the hold down is 1/8" stainless steel strap.
Been rocking that setup since the 2021 racing season. So far so good.

I will say this though....do NOT let this battery overheat. Charge it S-L-O-W.....
I let mine go dead running the electric water pump and then started the motor without letting the battery cool off and the alternator was enough to cook the battery and sh!t got real pretty dang fast....

Like Sal said!!! I had a similar issue. I killed the battery, put on a conventional charger and got it running. Then I noticed a "Swelled" battery case. I guess not all lithium batters burst into flames when abused.
PSA. Don't mess with a Lithium battery. Follow the directions. Which for me is hard since I rarely read directions, the first time around.

Well it does have air con and a full interior.

Haha, i actually read the instructions down to the point where it says to disconnect the battery if jump starting. Yeah they are sensitive little things.

Getting all that smoke back into the battery would have kept you busy.
I got to page 45 of your build last night. That blower motor must have been fun.

Yeah, I jumped it with the battery charger and pulled it off right away and let the alternator charge the battery and that was too much for it.....

It was....ultimately the car was faster with the N/A Coyote and suspension upgrades.
But boy did that thing haul azz down the straightaways.

Naw all the smoke was gone outta that one so I have to replace the battery with a fresh smoke filled one.

Lucky i have access to a lot of cable. One of the supervisors said he hadn't seen me on the factory floor this much. He laughed when i told him it was caus i was getting supplies for this project.

This might be a bit big. But what voltage drop.
