Holey Cow!!!!!!, Did we get some fireworks from Mother Nature last nite after 9pm!!!!!!!!!!!! The line of storms that promised to break our heat wave came thru and was bad!!!....Thunder, lightning wind & torrential rain.........It was BAD!!!!!!!!...............It knocked out my cable TV, internet til this afternoon, at least we didn't lose power!!!... Storms came thru just as the locals were starting their own celebrations..........Mother Nature had a celebration of Her Own! last night!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from my Boss ride.......Great as it always is!!!!! I'm noticing my eyesight is starting to diminish. When I was working, I had a "Machinist's eye". I use "cheaters" now to read the newspaper and driving is becoming a bit more challenging.......Another "joy" of the Golden years creeping in...........Hey, A lotta folks never get to see or enjoy those golden years. I watched the movie "Convoy" twice over the 4th of July weekend. I hadn't seen it since I went to movies to see it back in 1978. The CB craze was in full gear back then! I even had one in my 442.......My "handle" was "Mellow Yellow" ...........crazy times back then...........Don't cha know................

Some of the best car movies came from that era. I always loved Smokey & the Bandit and Cannonball Run ... and Sugarland Express... more of a road trip movie. Have been meaning to watch but still haven't seen Bullitt. Never watched this one either, but looks interesting.
