Personally, I don’t care much for white meat. I much prefer the thighs, drum sticks, and wings. Holly on the other hand won’t touch any meat on the bone.

Giving peanuts to my Squirrel buddy Skippy today....(beatiful day, sunny 65)...He buried more than He ate.......is that a sign of a bad winter coming????????....or just a dumb skippy???

That’s a sign of solid peanuts. A squirrel usually tests the shell to see if it’s whole. If whole, they will store them. Broken, cracked shell is chow.

My Skippy just looks or sniffs to see if there's a nut inside that shell...........after that He/She decides where its going......under 2ft of snow later on, it becomes a mute point, I guess....

I rebuilt the steering on my 2015 F250 a few weeks ago due to getting the Death Wobble several times. Decided since I was removing the front wheels and not knowing the state of the front brake pads I would also go ahead and replace those...gladly I did. Anyway, during the process, I found that a squirrel (I suppose) had stashed a pecan very neatly on top of one of the caliper brackets...go figure. We have also had them store pecans in the corners of our front and rear porches...strategically placed mind you. They will put nuts anywhere and everywhere.

Any good Squirrel Recipes?

Squirrel, rabbit, and chicken are pretty much interchangeable. Squirrel and dumplings is one of my favorites.
