That’s a sign of solid peanuts. A squirrel usually tests the shell to see if it’s whole. If whole, they will store them. Broken, cracked shell is chow.Giving peanuts to my Squirrel buddy Skippy today....(beatiful day, sunny 65)...He buried more than He ate.......is that a sign of a bad winter coming????????....or just a dumb skippy???
My Skippy just looks or sniffs to see if there's a nut inside that shell...........after that He/She decides where its going......under 2ft of snow later on, it becomes a mute point, I guess....A squirrel usually tests the shell to see if it’s whole

Sometimes you gotta open the windows even if it is cold out! Or have lots of air freshener handyLove Pork and rice!! And beans just gives it that extra bang...... Maybe open the windows if its not to cold.
