Very cool! I'm going to have to watch this next season of SuperCars. These new cars look pretty damned good.

Not likely, I don't think NASCAR would like that at all, I really believe that the growing fan base of the Aussie V8s is what prompted NASCAR's new car. When they went to COTA before, I thought that was a bellweather event for American stock car racing, they won't be back on US soil any time soon. What a great find and thanks for posting, as I , like others , thoroughly love watching V8 Supercars! One of the best racing series on the Planet at BS1 noted and hopefully they will return to COTA or another track in the US sometime in the future?!
And yet, these new Gen3 cars are probably what most fans in the US would want to see...Not likely, I don't think NASCAR would like that at all, I really believe that the growing fan base of the Aussie V8s is what prompted NASCAR's new car. NASCAR owns IMSA, you'll never see those Aussie V8s in America againThey likely would have to be a support series initially because the folks on TMO are highly knowledgeable about this and other racing groups in much of the World, but I am constantly surprised about how few folks are truly aware of the real Thunder from Down Under! Get those boys back here say to support F1 or a big IMSA Race like Le Petit LeMans and bingo , we could find a slew of new fans. Cool to find so many on here who appreciate the V8 Supercars and hopefully some of the Australian TMO members will drop us some news or videos at any of the events they might attend?
I know... that's a LONG time to wait. Curious to see if any other cars get added to the mix in the meantime, or if it will just be Mustang vs Camaro. I'm guessing if that were going to happen it probably would have had to been done by now though, looking at all the R&D taking place for the parity efforts.New cars don't debut til 2023 ...
