Beautiful day yesterday............Sun with temps tickling 70..........rain later today...Saturday not as bad as "they" once thought............Who the heck are "they"?????????????.......For all those folks still working TGIF!!!!!!....for me its TGIR.....Thank God I'm Retired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............A PERMANENT PAID VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....with a BOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to reiterate............ retirement is a gift that many folks can never get to enjoy, either because they die or simply can't afford to leave their job..I was Blessed to enjoy my retirement and thank God for every SECOND of it....................8 yrs and counting.................................AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We savor every minute of every day in our retirement !! We are living in some good times here in Wisco despite some of the crap in the outside world. Even clipping the lawn is fun & soon raking the leaves.

Not waking up 4am and not punching a 6am time clock is what I love about retirement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....The crap that came after that punch in is also gone The joy of retirement rages on!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, the rain and wind is knocking down some of the foliage before we get to peak color in these parts.

Dave, Foliage lovers are folks that never have to rake up leaves from their yards or sweep them from their driveway drains for fear of a flooding condition....I used to enjoy the leaves changing every autumn until I became a part of the latter group..................

Lol. Where I live, the winds in the fall carry most of the leafs into the farm Fields. Our new puppy feels the need to chase every leaf as it is blown across the lawn. Fun to watch and she sleeps well. Lol.

Sunday turned out great!!!!!!!!!!!!.....Son by with the Boys just after noon.....He mowed the lawn and washed His Jeep (for a hot date later).........Then took the Boss out for some exercise and came back with a Brewport Pizza...........It don't get any better than that folks at this stage of my life............trust me............

It's just after 3AM on the east coast...........What the heck am I doing posting stuff on TMO at this time of day?????????.........I know...I made the fatal mistake of going to sleep early after a long , but pleasant day........children of the sun are smiling..................me too.................. full screen,,,,,,,,,,,,FULL BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
