Going to be a real non white Christmas in much of the Midwest. We have a predicted 60 degree day in our neighborhood. We have had three measurable snows in the Des Moines metro from November till now, but finally getting into actual Winter ( today is the Winter Solstice ) we seem to be backtracking to Fall weather or even early Spring. Crazy .......

Alright...................Enough of this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. Let's move on to a warmer, happier time.............PLEASE!!! ..
Can you describe them?

I still remember being a young tyke and being allowed to stay up late to watch Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians live from the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel ballroom on New Year's Eve.
Midnight is at 20:00 minutes in the video.

WNYW (NYC TV 5) used to have a tradition of showing Yellow Submarine on New Year's Eve as well.

Sad, Sad, news from my castle and a horrible start to the New Year....................My beloved Peanut has gone to the big dog park in the Heavens. Me , Hon, Son and Galaxy are devastated. Whatever came and got Him was quick and taking no prisoners. The Vet said the best thing to do was put Him to sleep to end His suffering. And just to think, He brought the new year in with me and Hon just this past Thursday.............He would have been 8 yrs old in June................R.I.P. R.I.P Peanut
My condolences Bob.

When my dogs died in 2023, I hadn't prayed in decades, but I prayed for them. Since then, I still do, only to ask God that I follow them one day. They deserve to go to Heaven more than I ever will.

“If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.” -- Will Rogers

My condolences Bob, many of us have felt the pain of losing a pet, and though not as horrible as the loss of a family member or close friend, they are often part of the family dynamic.
I would rather lose some family members than my dog.

My condolences Bob. I lost my 14 year old German Shepherd just over a year ago and the thought still brings tears to my eyes.
