anybody else feelin this crazy winter cold....
Ayup, I'm leaving the cabinet door under the kitchen sink open so the pipes don't freeze. Just took a look at weather.gov and they're saying highs don't get over freezing all next week, with Sat 2/7 "high near 19." Brrrr. ⛄ Wind chill -10F tomorrow. Double brrrr. ☃️

With all the snow across the country early last week, I'm glad I didn't go to the Rolex 24. Would have been a nightmare trying to get home.

Going to make a big pan of lasagna and a pineapple upside-down cake tomorrow so I'll appreciate the extra heat from the oven. May do another loaf of soda bread if there's enough buttermilk left.

Dang, Munday, I was in Central Wisconsin yesterday also, picking up my son's EVO 9 from ASM near Plover. I was cold just filling up fuel since I left early in the AM at 9 degrees. But you and I were warm because once I crossed the Mississippi it was one 1 above.

A balmy 20 degrees this AM.........We may see 32 today!!!!....Freezing today and tomorrow I know ............It's winter..........deal with it.....now I understand how "cabin fever" can mess with a person.............

It was cold in the field. 10 degrees starting out. A bit chilly, not quite cold. lol.

I imagine our friends in the South or West cringe when you say 10 degrees and just a bit chilly, ha! Cold is when you get up and go to work and it reads -11, now that is cold, haha! So did you nail any birds that morning?

We took all our birds. Eight day one and sixteen day two. Four per Hunter. One of our guys was a ringer and somehow forgot to mention this. During interrogations, a few beers at the lodge, he came clean. Professional instruction from age 12, has shot multiple 100 bird rounds. Birds had zero chance on his side of the field. Good times….unless you are a bird. lol

" The advice I would give to someone is to not take anyone's advice."
So then I shouldn't take his advice? But does that mean I should take everyone's advice? This is so confusing -- it feels like a Möbius strip of logic. ;)
