Hey everyone! If you don't keep up with our social media accounts, we are happy to report that we have dropped pricing on many of our hard parts. Over the past ~3-4 years virtually every industry has been crushed by price increases. Unfortunately, this continues to make our hobby extremely expensive for the average enthusiast. Cars are more expensive, fuel is more expensive, consumables are more expensive, events and the travel cost associated are all more expensive. The ever rising costs have a serious effect on the ability of the average enthusiast to get their car out on track without substantial financial sacrifice.

During this period of time, we were one of a small handful of vendors who didn't raise prices. While others continue to issue increases, we are excited to announce that we are lowering pricing. It's our belief that customers shouldn't have to make a choice between purchasing high-quality race proven parts or their entry fees for track time. As always, we will be unwavering on our commitments to quality, US sourced components, and our products will continue to be manufactured in our Ohio facility.

CorteX has been in a bit of a transformative period over the past 12 months. We have a new website & back end system, we ran headlong into TA2 from a pro-racing standpoint which is a newer series and market for us, and we doubled down on finding sourcing and manufacturing improvements for our hard parts. It's time for us to pass these improvements on to the customer. Head over to cortexracing.com when you get time and check out some of the products we offer. Don't forget that TMO members get additional discounts on all products. To cash in on that offer, shoot us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.

In addition to the products currently listed on our website, we are able to acquire thousands of additional products. If you need a part for your vehicle, whether it be a supercharger or a seat, a new AIM dash or an aero package, give us a call or shoot us an email. We'll do the best we can to offer you a great deal.

As a true small business, we greatly appreciate this community in supporting our passion; making the best parts to help you go faster.

@cortexracing hello, do you guys not offer JRi any more for s550 and only Penske now? Been saving towards SA JRi but looks like I have to wait a bit longer if that’s not an option

JRI has been unavailable for a number of months. They were planning to redesign the strut inserts that we use for both S550 and S197 but we have no ETA. As such, we temporarily removed them from the website. If/when they come back in stock, we will begin advertising for them again.

Thanks,
Chandler

Really like how @cortexracing supports the Mustang racing community. Just curious, if you don't mind, the Garage Sale page seems to have gotten lost in the website redesign (which looks great). Any chance of it coming back, or is there not enough items to bother?

Also, did you ever consider selling the Koni 28-series dampers? They're interesting because it's an inverted strut design, and the adjustments are done using a rotating disc with different orifice sizes rather than the common needle and seat design.

The garage sale page did indeed get axed when we flipped websites. I'm not saying it will never come back (as we actually really need to clean some old stuff out) It's just on the backburner for now. The admin time / effort associated with documenting, listing, and then managing individual one time sale products becomes a difficult value prop given how busy the team frequently is.

Truthfully I'm not sure on the Knoi's. I can check with Rick and Filip; We will likely soon have another shock offering that I think the market will really appreciate and as such that has eaten up the majority of our focus from a shock standpoint.

Whens the brakes that will let us gt350 owners use 18’‘ rims be available.
They're available but it usually involves moving to a dedicated race brake system such as AP Racing or some of the smaller brembo calipers. While it's not a cheap endeavor, there are a multitude of benefits from weight savings, to larger pad sizes, and more heat resistance.

Let us know if it is something you are interested in!
