Ford Performance Parts R1 Flow-Formed Wheels per the FP website

I know what they are. They have no business in a racing environment. Racing wheels are forged, period. These are cast blanks deformed to the final dimension. You can put any name you want on it, like 'Flow-Formed' or "Spin forged", and, at the end of the day, they are better than a normal gravity casting, but they are a not the level of strengths, stiffness or durability which should be used on a race car.

It's going to take some work to convince me otherwise on this one.

I was just quoting the website, not arguing the point.

Just got home after a fantastic first weekend of IMSA Mustang Challenge racing

I was a little nervous entering my first Pro event, but the experience far exceeded my expectations!

Can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming the IMSA officials were and the Ford Performance and FPRS team did a great job organizing and managing the event.

Thanks to Capaldi Racing Optimum Performance Racing, LLC and Chin Track Days their help and support.

Steady improvement through the weekend. Silly mistakes cost a podium on Saturday (that’s Racing!), but today was solid, with a P3 in Legends and a P10 overall.

Thanks to all those who showed up at the track and on social media to support and especially Steve Esposito, Leo Capaldi and Craig Capaldi.

Looking forward to load in at Watkins Glen in 10 days!

Due to overwhelming demand after our excellent showing at Mid Ohio (4th, 3rd in DH Legends, 10th overall Race 2) Nick and Team NJS58 are proud to offer another run of our well recieved team shirts.
Orders for more than 1 are accepted this time, so anyone who got the first ones and wanted another they have the opportunity. Please respond here by Thursday June 13 at 9am EDT. to get delivery at Road America July 4-6 or shipping by then. We have a slight price increase to $50 per shirt, but shipping of 1-3 shirts will still be only $10. Thanks for the huge support, I know @Black Boss would agree, his/our racing programs would not be where they are without the support and information we have found here on Boss Mustangs Online/Track Mustangs Online these past 13 years.
Please respond to this post with requests.

Most (I missed 2, my bad) of the first Team Polo shirts that were requested to be shipped should arrive this Friday. The others will be available at Watkins Glen next weekend and at Road America on July 4. @EF1 and @Voodoo Stoned I will ship yours from Watkins so 2-4 days from next Wednesday. And for all who missed and want one, get a request in by tomorrow at 9am EDT for the second run.
Steve
