The rule of thumb I learned a long time ago was if a crack reaches the edge of the rotor it's now junk. I wouldn't run it, but I tend to be pretty cautious about brakes. I run OEM Ford blanks and haven't had any cracking issues with them, just heat checks in the face, but I'm not racing anymore either.

Now this is a fun new toy:

Getting ready for Friday test day?
Yup. They changed up the format....now we have no practice and two qualifiers....I don't have enough tires for all this...I KNEW I should have stocked up.

Real. You can't make this stuff up. Sorry about the whacked out reference, but Ted Williams come to my mind every time we use nitrogen in the shop to fit parts, Han Solo gets put in carbonite, or you freeze your rotors.

Like the catch can. That thing is WAY industrial looking.
It worked.
As far as Ted goes....why separate the head and body?
Even if they CAN get him to come back to life, he's gonna need his body. WTF?

Well, they don't LOOK any different....lets hope this works.
That tub there has temp paint in it....lets see how hot these things are getting.
The brakes still aren't right on this thing and I don't know what to do about it.

Are the cracks on both sides of the rotors? If not, is it possible that one side is getting more cooling than the other?
Both sides are cracked, cooling is as even as possible.

And look who's joined the ranks of triple pass radiators....anybody know this guy?
