That is awesome! In an old stick axle Mustang - so impressive!
An old stick axle mustang with no ABS and flat spotted tires.
Not sure what I’m gonna do tomorrow, my second set is corded.

So does that mean I should stay home?
I’m not done yet…..I’ll have to make a game day decision regarding tires, but we are racing. Probably going with the flat spotted tires.

Managed to trim a little over 2 seconds off my qualifying time. Thats good for fastest in class and second quick overall. That puts me on pole. I’ll take it.

And the decision is in:
We’re going with the flat spotted tires instead of the corded tires. Hope they last the whole race and don’t shake my fillings loose in the process.

Caliper bracket bolt came loose and ground itself off on the rotor. Nothing a little driveshaft bolt won’t fix….with a little cutoff wheel action that is.

Been tweaking the car every round and it’s been getting better and better.
I just put more wing in it than I’ve ever run before…hope it’s not too much.
Wish me luck!

Looks like your having a good time! From watching the video you posted, you could probably pick up a bunch of time in T3 if you haven't already figured it out. In American Iron, basically similar mustang build as yours but with 275 Toyos, we are flat through T3 and brake up the hill for T3A. With the Hoosiers on your car you should probably be able to do the same. Last time we were there in the dry we were in the 1:48/49s so your right there.
