Sal - I am heading to Sonoma for the first time on 11/29, with SPEEDSF. Any plans to be there or visit? New seat and harnesses and helmet and HANS are in the car...new livery is being worked on this week...can't wait to show you.

Thank the camera man, he certainly gets all your best angles.
I did. He’s definitely my favorite….and he just keeps raising the bar.

I'd love that.

No offense taken at all, I completely agree with everything you said.
Nice to have someone around with a similar background who understands where I'm coming from. And yeah, these tin can cars are way too much work and cost way too much money. Give me a pile of tubing and lets build A REAL RACE CAR....
Don't tempt me, I know a pile of tubing near me and I have the gung-ho and the balls to ask you "hey Sal, can you teach me how to build a racecar that isn't my mustang?"

Yes, I am reading through this thread all the way back. Yes, I am behind on this thread. Yes, I am only on page 43 after 3 days of reading.

The great photobucket failure of 2017 killed a lot of the pictures in many of the older threads and therefore lots of info was lost or has lost clarity.
I hope you are able to find something useful in there...

Photobucket stopped offering free third-party image sharing (hotlinking) in late June 2017, when it abruptly changed its terms of service to require a paid subscription for this feature.
This change was highly controversial as millions of images embedded on third-party websites, such as blogs and forums, suddenly appeared as error messages or "account upgrade" notices unless users paid a substantial annual fee (initially around $399.99 per year). While the service continued to exist, the functional ability for free users to share images externally was essentially eliminated overnight, leading to a mass exodus of users. The company later introduced cheaper plans and further limited free accounts in subsequent years, eventually deactivating them entirely.

Yeah its true lost a lot of important pictures...but still finding tons of important information, at least from a developmental/engineering standpoint that I can apply to my own thought processing and development.

Yes, I am an overthinker.

CobaltFilly, You may be biting off more than you can chew, but one thing is for sure......................You are Hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wait until you see my next update on the Cobalt Filly build thread...

Currently working and simultaneously modifying new Ford Performance TPMS sensor kit to fit APEX Wheels low profile valve stems because I wanted to save $130 by not buying HUF TPMS sensors. I seem to have successfully saved $110.

I wish I had taken over TMO before Photobucket screwed all the forums out there. On my other forums I was able to use a script that ran through all the embedded Photobucket images and convert them to attachments (so they lived on the site, instead of being hosted on Photobucket). I was able to save most of the images that way, but not all. Unfortunately, I wasn't around to do that here.
