Was at VIR this weekend and a FP350S had a bad crash. The car had Doerr Racing on the side. I had just taken several pictures of it in the paddock when next I saw it was going by on a roll back. Anyone know who this was? Hopefully he was ok

I really don't know. It was towards the end of the day Sunday and I never got any details. I'm still asking around though

I didn't have the heart to take post crash pictures. Some people, of course, went to look at it but that seemed kind of sad to me.
Are you sure thats a real fp350s. It doesnt look like one to me but a copy

The hood and rims threw me off. I dont know why hes using track spec vents when the fp350s comes with one

I know just curious cuz they came with 2 sets of forgelines. Still an awesome car

Not sure what those vents are, but the center vent isn't the GT350 style TrackSpec vent at least.
That's the standard FP350 hood vent.
Hope the driver is okay. Sad to see one of these beasts go down.

Yeah any cutting into the car is a little stressful. lol
Hear you there, I refrain from viewing a binded car after it‘s return to the paddock. Seen a few on the track as I passed by them & after seeing them, gotta refocus on what’s in front of me. There could be some liability issues with posting photos of videos also.
