S197 3V Front Sheet Metal swap

G` I just found this page through FB and wanted to say i am looking forward to this group ..check my profile ..yes im the old barstard .. had more than my share of mustangs over the many years and now came back to the S197 chassis ... Has anyone put a 2010 /2012 Mustang front sheet metal on a 05//08 mustang ?.

I think somebody did similar ‘grafting’ of ‘13-‘14 parts onto an ‘05-‘08 car. A few years back at least. It’s essentially the same type of work since the front ends for ‘10-‘12 cross bolt with -‘13-‘14. What I recall was that a fair amount of sheet metal work was needed between the door and front fender panels. Especially at the creases and by the mirrors.

Hopefully they might chime in...or bring old too, I might remember who it was!
