I may have missed this reading the previous 32 pages so I apologize is this is a repeat.
Wondering if anyone knows weather the 6 pot s550 brakes will fit under my 07-09 gt500 wheels. I currently have a 20mm spacer.

More likely then not, they will not fit. Only some aftermarket 18 wheels do fit, APEX for example. SVE drifts are ok. as are the 19" Boss 302 and track pack wheels.

Awesome thanks. I’m going to run the 4 pots for now until I can same up some money and buy different wheels. Is the issue of them fitting internal barrel size of wheel or is it the spokes coming in contact with the callipers

Okay thanks. So then I will probably have an easier time finding a 19 inch wheel that will clear the 6 pots then an 18 inch wheel.

I had been looking at 18 inch apexs during the sale more as a day dream then an actual idea and the shipping to Canada is absolutely insane so they may not be an option

I remember Driving to Seattle for car parts and installing them before going home.... That was ages ago.

Yes Apolinar it is a direct bolt on using the 12367 lines or OEM 2013-14 GT500 lines. Also remember the rotors have to be the 13-14 GT500 15” or aftermarket equivalent.

I know this comment is 7 years old but here goes nothing. Will these lines also with with the 4 piston brakes from the s550. I don’t see why they wouldn’t but I figured I would ask

I just swapped out the 32 mm thick Girodisc rings with the 34 mm thick set that Tim at OP Mustang sells to use with this swap. It eliminated the need for centering shims and reduces the pedal stroke that some do not like. I only have a short test drive on them but they do make a noticeable difference in pedal travel and feel. Girodisc's aren't cheap but the hold up better than any rotors I have put on the car and run cooler.

Very interested in any further updates on this. The downsides to this S550 BBK have been extra unsprung weight and the long pedal travel and hopefully this may be a fix for both issues. Thanks for leading the way.
