Installing the M-17757-MB front bar

Anyone have any tips on marking where to cut the bumper for the tow hook? on 13-14 front bumper.

check with Watson Racing, they may have a template. www.watsonracing.com
While you are at it, I would purchase the radiator enclosure from them that is designed to work with your tubular front bumper. It is super effective in helping to keep things cool.

I would ask for John Phillips.

Also,
Cortex racing in Sonoma may have a template; they installed my bumper with no issues.

Sorry dude that was a year or so ago, so negative on the template. Call or email Watson they were very responsive when I asked

Here's what John at watson sent me

It’s fairly simple to locate the trim area by mounting the fascia over the tow hook loop mount and tapping it with your fist to make a witness of the area, this will give you an area to start from then its trim, test, trim, test.

Not as helpful as I'd have hoped. If you had a 2012 I'd go measure my car when I got home.

That's what I basically did for the rear bumper bar and tow hook

Here's what mine looks like. I've got a 2013. The hole cut in mine is 2" wide by 3/4" high and is located 3/4" from the top angle inside the bumper. Good Luck!

Update following wwilde measurements and made the witness mark. The hole has been completed. I did notice you have to push the bumper in to get the hook on and bolted.
