Second autocross of the season is this weekend and also second event in this car. I’ve been driving hot hatches for quite a while so relearning the limits and handling characteristics of RWD made for an interesting wet and rainy first event. I have 4 events total under my belt so I will be running in the Novice group for this season.

I’m interested to see how dropping ~9 lbs per corner from switching to the new Apex wheels will affect steering response.

Next on the list is changing what I assume to be the factory trans fluid for BG Synchro Shift II. I have some pretty rough notchiness on the 1 - 2 shift occasionally, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about Synchro Shift II. Hopefully that helps or resolves the issue, otherwise I will be looking into a shifter bracket.
