If you are talking about the drop in unit I don't think so. I started a thread on this a while back but nothing conclusive came from it. I noticed the race cars have K&N decals on them. ;)
 
No tune, the mass airflow sensor will see and adjust for the flow if any. You could disconnect the battery for 15 mins then start the car and let it idle for 5 minutes and it will re-learn the air flow, not needed but it will give you a fresh start like when you clean the wire off.
