My best for the two days was a 2:23.81 which while a PB was a bit disappointing. Was in the intermediate run group and had an instructor for the first day that I think was afraid of the car so I had to practice smooth line training for 4 sessions. 2nd day got solo sign off but was balked in traffic multiple laps where we were - 3.00 or more off of all time best lap.
Eh.. excuses are like you know what.
Derek did an awesome job on street tires with that lap, very aggressive 8), if I did that my Instructor would have had a heart attack! Prost!

You should be reaching 140ish by the time you have to brake for the bus stop. When doing this approach, turn three can be a little exciting! Also, when making the first turn into the bus stop, try getting your right wheel all the way on the right side of the curbing and your left wheel will be where the curbing starts (but still on the track surface). This gives you a straight shot for the next turn to the left in the bus stop. Hopefully the rain stays away for you today!

I really liked the PSS when I used them at Las Vegas. I'm not sure if they are any faster than the RS3 but they were more predictable and felt more balanced. They are a lot better than the stock P-0 and Toyo ProxesOne. I'm probably going to try the new Yokohama AD08R if I ever wear out my PSS tires as I don't drive my car in the rain. Plus it doesn't rain here anymore.steveespo said:Verdict on Toyo R888s is don't bother, inconsistent all weekend, 40 psi hot is the best I could find but one session I was no better than a 2:25 and the at the end I strung together 6 2:21's and 2 2:20's. I really think I would have done just as well on Michelin PSS's. Hoosiers may find their way to my door at some point.
