During the open track day and PCA event at Raceway Park of the Midlands on Oct 7, 8 and 9, I improved my PB from a couple years ago by about a full second to 1:50.175.
First session Sunday morning, I broke into the 1:50 range with a 1:50.9. Second session dropped to a 1:50.795. Third session it all came together for the 1:50.175. Didn't seem like I was driving that much harder, so I'll chalk it up to the smooth is fast and fast is smooth adage we always use. Enkei wheels with BF Goodrich Rival in 275/35/18. Gripped like crazy on the cool mornings, but got a little greasy mid day and afternoon.
Went out one more time to see if I could reach 1:49, but figured out by the 4th lap it wasn't going to happen. But overall a great 3 days at the track. Great Plains PCA runs a great event. Put 406 track miles on the Boss in 3 days.
Here's a vid of my PB lap.

Ran Palmer again up in Mass this past Tuesday and ticked off a new PB. Had a passenger with me when I ran the fast lap too, so I know I can quickly find more time between losing the weight and pushing harder since I always hold back a touch when taking passengers out.

Palmer Motorsports. Track noob but having fun and hopefully will get better!

stevbd - 2011 GT, Vorshlag "Street Pro" (FRPP P springs, Bilsteins, camber plates)/FRPP 14" Brembo/square 275/40/18 mpss - 1:54.6

Went back to Palmer with the same car as before but with the basic Vorshlag suspension and ran 9 seconds faster. Woo hoo, pretty happy about that. Some of it was me learning the track but the car was way more stable and the camber helped too.

Second time at NJMP Thunderbolt first time with the chicane. There's room for improvement but I was happy.

Posted is the best lap of 1:37.52 with the chicane in a 13 Mustang GT running R888, GT500 brembos, carbotech XP20s, koni sports, and steeda sport springs.

DMichaels, I also meant to say thank you for posting up your videos of Palmer. They were very helpful and fun to watch, I spent a bunch of time studying your driving as I was trying to learn the line. You are very fast and have a nice car.

That said, I did have a bunch of moments where I was thinking, wait, this corner didn't look or feel like this on my computer, lol.

My fastest lap at NCM was a 2:17.8 on Pirelli Pzero Slicks, DTC60 pads, Eibach Sportline Springs, and Koni Yellow dampers. This video is I believe a 2:18.1 lap comparison between an R Compound tire and slicks.

In the video below, there was an older NASCAR running, which I pointed by in the infield the lap before. I gave it my best trying to keep up for the next 2 laps :)

Nice driving, you were flying. Those old NASCAR's would be fun to drive and it was fast on the straights. Are you still using the stock front Brembo's and can you tell much difference with the wing in either downforce or drag at high speed?

Yeah, I would love to try one of those NASCARs. Stupid power and they handle pretty well too!

Yes, I'm still on stock Brembo calipers. I have 2-piece rotors and ducting though.

Regarding the wing - yes, absolutely it makes a difference. Through the climbing esses the car just stuck. Zero slippage and zero floating feeling, which I have had at high speed in this car up until this point. It's HUGELY confidence inspiring. That said, I can't comment on drag because I've never run VIR before, so I don't know straight line speed comparisons. I ran out of revs which is why in the videos the highest speed attained is 144... that's my redline. Worth noting, I'm on 275/35/18's which are ~4-5% smaller diameter than OEM, so 144 indicated mph is really like 137 actual speed. Anyways, whatever top speeds I might be missing out on are completely offset by the stability of the car in my opinion.

And I'll wait for Pete or someone to jump in with a witty "bet your lap times are 5% fast too!" comment ;D ;D ;D
