For Sale: Lightly used Nitto NT-01 275/40/18 tires

I'm moving to take a new job and won't be with 3+ hours of a track, so I've got to sell off some stuff.

First up are my tires. I paid $1100 for them new.

I've only used the tires on a few track days, maybe for 11 or 12 sessions. They still have the original tread pattern on them, which I understand to mean they have a lot of rubber left.

Local pick up San Diego, but I'm willing to tote them to a shipping company.

I'd like to get $500 for the tires.

But ive heard people ship large items via Grey Hound on the "cheap"
My zip is 20874, if you ever feel bored and want to poke around shipping costs. But my guess is in a couple of months, you should be able to sell these pretty quickly.

Now that I've moved the tires are just sitting in my garage, and I'm nowhere near a track.

If there's anyone in San Diego who wants some tires, holler at me for a local pick up.

I can look into shipping if need be. My assumption is that it'll be $25-35 per tire.

FYI on the Greyhound option. Be VERY careful. I had an experience where I bought an item on Ebay and it shipped Greyhound. I then received a call from someone wanting to "Trade" my item for cash. Thing is the seller already had my $. I think someone hung out at the depot, took my package and tried to leverage me. I ended getting my $ back from the seller, but a sketchy situation nonetheless. Unfortunately, shipping wheels/ tires is expensive. And yeah, if I were in San Diego and not San Francisco, you would have a sale. Good luck.

I run the exact same size for a square setup, with proper tire rotations and alignment - they wear like iron!
I've been running the same set for 2 seasons now (5-6 events a season) and they still have enough meat to last me 1-2 weekends.

I run the 35 sidewall variant. Have you run both by chance and can compare?

I run the 40 series on front. No issues.

NT-01's wear great and stick well for a street legal (Barely) tire.

GLWS.

I have spares in my shop waiting install or I would have jumped on these.

Bob, you know you have Chuckwalla Valley Raceway which isn't too far from SD. They also do auto rose at Qualcomm on the weekends. PM me if you have any question about SD tracks, etc
