MMR Head cooling

How many of you Track Rats have performed this modification?
Are the Ford Racing Bosses (302S / 302R) having it when delivered ?
Is there another way to compensate for the poor cooling around Cylinder 8?

Not many.
No.
This hasn't been a systemic problem with our engines. That said if you have your engine out it couldn't hurt to install this. The biggest problem I see with our engines is valve spring issues due to overrevving especially on hard downshifts on track.

Yeah there is really no data on its effectiveness. I will probably install one for peace-of-mind but I won't tell anyone to rush out and buy one.
