Mustang Challenge Race #1 & #2 Mid Ohio Sportscar Course June 8-9

As you all saw we were in it with a shout for a second place, at least a podium but Nick had two offs, the second being too much too late to recover from. We have good pace, and expect to be competitive tomorrow for Race 2 at 8:25am EDT. Thanks for all the support and well wishes. @blacksheep-1 , I have your shirt, and will see you right after our race if not earlier. For all those who paid already, I have the ship shirts and will be sending them out Monday/Tuesday. If you haven't paid us yet, please do as we make zero profit on them and would just have to try and offer them out.

I bet this series is going to sort out weaknesses pretty quickly. It would have been nice of they had showed overall status more often. Lee (blew engine?) was in amongst the DH class.

What an exciting first race ! The roar of a V8 the close racing with Manual cars ! It really remind you why we are going to track in Mustangs ! All the weaknesses of the cars were also fully displayed like hood shakes, overheating, tire wear, how unpredictable to drive this things are. I don't know if someone else is fallowing this lovely site:

But lot's of interesting information on the technical side of things. Looks like now they are cutting fan shrouds for air and opening grills as well.

Ended up P7, somehow the Aston Martin went 49 green flag and 4 yellow flag laps on 1 tank of fuel.
For those scoring at home, that's about 12 more than a mustang.
