Wow that is really nice.....but I would be crying more than once at that price lol. If the budget allowed aluminum is the way to go.

The tie downs go over the wheels / tires and are secured to the rails. The solar panel is sitting on top of the box that houses the battery and the winch. Hope this pic helps.

FWIW, I paid 10K for a brand new 25' enclosed trailer and it's got a ton of storage inside. When an open trailer starts reaching that number, I'm not sure why you wouldn't consider going that route.

This is the route I went, I got a really nice 24' ATC raven for 10.5k.

But I will say, I have a buddy with an ACR and a very large chin splitter, he has that trailer which allows him to drive right on it. There is no way he could make it into my trailer without some work.

Lots of nice race trailers for sale on ebay, for example:

I started out with an open tilt back trailer made by Sloan. When I got more serious I realized I needed an enclosed rig. I found that the 28 footer was the perfect size providing ample storage for tools, spare parts, two extra complete sets of wheels/tires. Built in gasoline powered generator, air compressor, winch, awning, etc. Some of my buddies even had air-conditioning.

I too have the LS Chin Spoiler on my Boss and with the assistance of Race Ramps and I have no issues loading or unloading.

If that is directed towards me, the reason I went with a Futura open trailer is the weight, ease of loading / unloading, maneuverability (if that is a word) and I didn't want to get a seperate (more robust) tow vehicle. My home track isVIR and is about an hour and 15 minutes from me. Won't be leaving the truck / trailer overnight @ a hotel. It's perfect for what I need. An enclosed trailer has it's advantages, but not ideal for my needs.
