A Cobra Jet manifold where it belongs...
On top of a 13.5:1 compression naturally aspirated Coyote engine with custom ground L&M cams, and ported Boss heads. Big monoblade in the front, and a Saenz 6 speed sequential transmission out back. This car is a current lap record holder at Interlagos F1 Circuit, and looking to go faster very soon.
Last time out at Interlagos, we dropped a valve. The unfortunate lesson learned was that Boss sodium filled exhaust valves don't tolerate stiffer valve springs for long, especially when you're spraying 150 hp shot of nitrous on it down a 3/4 mile long back straight.
Engine should be back in later this week, and she'll be on the dyno shortly after. We'll be tuning the Ford Racing Control Pack with SCT Performance Advantage 3 tuning software. We're looking to make around 550 whp on E85, and around 700 whp with nitrous.
This should be FUN!
