When I ran drilled or slotted rotors I found they increased pad wear and the drilled rotors were prone to cracking. I run Ford blanks, have had zero problems with them and pad wear is better.

I'm using them for the last 6 or so track days. They've been fine so far. I can't comment on pad wear as I don't have the long term experience with Mustangs, but just based on broader experience it seems fine.

Never saw a benefit to the slotted units, but I’ve used Raybestos and Centric blanks with no issues.

I used them as well for a bit. For disc life, the best are the Ford OEM's but the Raybestos slotted worked ok.

In my opinion , slot rotors work way better for heavy use.

Stay with slotted and bypass drilled as noted, but I am not much help otherwise, because time on track is not just going fast it is stopping quickly and with plenty of control. More money, but a set of Girodisc two piece rotors are my first choice and when they wear out you can just buy new rings. If overall speed and stopping power is not your goal, go with JDee and just buy Ford blanks.
