I had bubbles in my door decals that caused them to tear when I was washing the car. I initially turned the claim into insurance. They would not pay, stating it was a defect. When I took the car to the dealer I gave them the adjusters report. They replaced the decals under warranty because they couldn't dispute the adjusters report. You may want to try your insurance. If they won't replace them you will have something to go back to Ford with.
