Great video!!,,, I was sneaking peaks at it instead of working today. Does the white Boss have more power or is that wing drag?
I wondered the same , but then balanced the fact that AZ was stronger in the corners and under braking, which leads one to believe that much of it could be wing drag. The end result was he was hounding the heck out of him and the pass with traffic was a thing of beauty!
Probably a little of both. Supposedly our engine builds are pretty much the same. That car has a 4.88 gear set and the same Magnum trans; the builder is saying it's gear ratios but when I compare them on the tractive effort calculator, there's not any advantage to the 4.88.
He appeared to be holding what would be 3rd gear in my car all the way to redline on the straights, and might have another 200 RPM or so before he hits his limiter vs. my upshift with another 800 revs available. He's on here so maybe he'll comment
Nice work overall and brilliant move at 14:20!
That was fun to watch and nice pass FTW!
Great, close racing and excellent move using traffic
Passing in traffic is a skill you have down pat. Great job.
The way you take off once you passed the white Boss was impressive. You have me just about sold on the whole wing thing...
Last lap was a full 3 seconds faster then previous best. Once you were out front, you flew. NICE!
PB at Sonoma with NASA this weekend. Goal was go sub 1:50 but didn't quite get there.
My best lap from last weekend. Dissappointing event after P0300 codes came on the during race. My best times was in the practice the day before.. Still getting the feel for the 15" Brembos with Gloc 18 pads. they worked well but missed the instant bite that I had before with the Pagids. New Aero helped on the straight. At least I could keep up with the faster cars now....
Just a short clip as promised. Beautiful car.
New PB at Buttonwillow (in 90F+ heat!) and some fun times with the GT4
Damn I love the sound of that car, especially when the Hollinger is doing its magic going down gears. Just a fantastic sound.
Giant's Despair Hillclimb fast run this past weekend. Great event. Change of pace from the racetrack.
Man I love the sound of your car, what exhaust are you running?
I have Kooks LT's, no cat X-pipe and I replaced the resonator pipes with a straight Borla set into Steeda mufflers. It's actually pretty raspy when you first start moving through the gears and at part throttle which I can't say I like but at WOT it's much better.
Oh yeah man, at WOT it is just awesome. Thanks for the info.
