Heres a couple of rare VIR Grand Course long sessions... with beautiful fall colors.

I am also borrowing a Garmin Catalyst for a couple of events.

The first is my first session on the configuration in over a year. I had a student on board... open passing is fun

The second is from the afternoon open session. It was broken up to retrieve a car and I topped off my gas and checked my water pump job. But its a good ASMR video. :)

If full course is your jam, heres a session I rolled up late and cut some 2:14s more or less unhindered

If you'd like shorter videos, here are my fastest laps from each day. I also uploaded Garmins optimal lap

Thanks for posting the full Course run .....that is my key bucket list run at VIR, not the typical course but the full Monty! Enjoyed watching the V6 prove it is no slouch on a master road course !!

Just to be clear... full is the 3.27 mile withoit infield and the 4.1 mile with the infield is the "grand" configuration. Very few organizations... like 3 a year, use it for a traditional hpde.

Oh, I was quite aware as I have only run the conventional course many, many years back and the " Grand " configuration has been on my list since. I'm quite envious you got to run that!

Just want to share how important driver coaching is and how helpful it can be. We ran VIR this weekend and I was having fun with my buddies and driving ok but not near as well as I should have been. So I went to my driving mentor Craig Capaldi of Capaldi Racing who was coaching his dad, Leo in his "transition" from stick axle S197 to IRS S550/650 chassis. Anyway Craig spent 5 minutes looking at my GPS trace and data, but before looking at it he already knew where I was not executing. And sure enough he was right in all four spots. I gained back 1.2 seconds this session. So if you have the opportunity find a good pro level driver coach, like Craig or the many others to help improve not only your performance, but also the the mindset and safety aspects of going faster, make the commitment. It is well worth the investment. ShopCapaldiRacing.com

Ran the infamous Buttonwillow 13CW with Global Time attack this past weekend. From last year I am -9 seconds with basically the same car other than the addition of aero (and getting more comfortable in the car / minor setup tweaks). This lap is a 1:45.7. I bobbled a bit when the corvette let me by and watching the video I think I sort of missed my lines out of phil hill and into the sweeper but all in all pretty excited with how the car performed. This is the first time running Yokohama take offs (300/650/18 - A60 compound) . Allegedly they had like 2 heat cycles from a Porsche cup team. On used A7's (335/30-18) I was about 1 second slower.

Your car and the S10 were my favorite from the weekend. Great driving out there!

navseng, must be pronounced in drunk German as " Now Sing, " because that old beast has a song in it's heart through every shift! Thanks for the Music Mustang Mozart, it helped soothe the soul of a TMO member confined to the Fall/ Winter doldrums of the Midwest. More music in the coming months, please.

Heres a few videos...

Another dry session... passing, getting passed, a yellow with a fastest lap passing a broken Miata... this session has it all...

My best consistency was in the wet... all 2:11s instructing a student, 2:08s when he got out... the 2:08 starts with a hot rollout around 13 min, and laps begin at 15 mins

Wet is my favorite...

If Short videos are your thing, heres me chasing that @Apex3V guy

Or a quick minute of rain fun

My first time posting a video, go easy!
Car has Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Really need to upgrade to some 200tw as the 4s got too greasy quicky.
Any tips would be great, thanks
