Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Installed the Cortex wattslink. Took me 6hrs total with a few breaks and a trip to advance auto. Hoping to see no leaks and loosened bolts after tomorrow's test drive.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Nice, I think you're going to like the watts link.

I installed my Blowfish Racing fire extinguisher bracket. This is a really well designed product and very reasonably priced. It doesn't look like it but the seat clears the extinguisher when you move the seat forward. Just make sure your fingers are out of the way. ::)

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Installed the Blowfish front tow hook. The only issue I had was getting the sides of the bumper cover to unhook without breaking off the plastic tabs (broke one). I might of caused them to bind when I did not check that the bottom of the cover was not over lapping the bottom correctly. I also reused the existing bottom screws for the bumper so the bumper would not move plus I like factory screws better than the after market srews supplied. It was a good quality piece and took about two hours to install.

Awesome! K-member removal isn't bad! Take some pics of the headers installed and the toro mounts! Both on my list of mods!

Finished installing the Headers. I cannot imaging how people do this without dropping the K-member, which turned out to be easy -- wish I'd done it for the Steering Rack and LCA install. Pics of the headers installed:

And the H-Pipe which I'll finish up tomorrow:

Mmm parts porn. I just had my O/R H installed along with my AED base tune. Going to a dyno tomorrow to do the data logging, maybe catch some video.

Looks great nick! Even done on a 4-post lift! Lol.

Which h-pipe did u go with? I just purchased magnaflow's cat-back system with x-pipe for the boss. Hoping the kooks headers will bolt up to it! Looks like pretty simple install. (Once mine gets back from body shop).

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I went with the Kooks Off Road H-Pipe.

The lift makes life more comfortable!

If you go with the Watson solid engine mounts, install them using all the hole tolerance to get them as high on the Cylinder Block as possible, otherwise the holes don't line up on the K-Member.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

I drove mine for the first time in a month lol. Just needs an alignment and I can get it back tomorrow. Still need to get a corner balance next week, then it's set for VIR.

Did some dyno data logging after installing the H pipe, careful for your ears.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9kDBENA8R8&feature=youtu.be

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Fired the car up with the Long Tube Headers and Off Road H-pipe. Warned my son it might be loud -- he said it's deafening.

Need to check the torque on all the bolts tomorrow after heat cycling, then headed to the Track, Friday to check out the mods.....

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

That is a good question, its a tune by AED but I didn't think to ask. From the dyno sheet it looks like 8200.

Received replacement interior quarter trim panels. Will cut to fit around Watson bar.

Thanks Captdistraction!

Fit and installed the rear quarter trim panels with the Watson roll bar and rear seat delete kit.

Thanks again to Captdistraction. Panels were like new and shipping was less than half of quote from recycler.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Installed my own version of the sound tube delete. With my current exhaust (GT500 Mufflers and "3/4 sound discs) you cannot tell the difference. The sound of the air entering my Peterson breather can under deceleration is louder than anything the sound tube ever made......
