OH NO!!!!!!.......Too soon for pics of snow.....We just set new records for warmth this past Wed in Ct...Hartford got to 83 and Bridgeport got to 73. Not bad when the normal high is 57.....no rain for over a month now, things are very dry......Red flag warnings for fire danger when the winds get over 25MPH.....many parks and hiking trails closed to help prevent fires.

That's worst case. I drive it into December some time's but when the tarmac gets really cold there is no traction at that point. View attachment 99565
Carver! Dude! Where ya been? Our paths didn't cross this year. Bummer!
Nov. 1 is my date to get the oil change done, put the cover on it, turn the trickle charger on and put it up on the lift. It will be there until next April.
As your photo shows the weather is too sketchy up here this time of year. One minute the sun is out and 5 minutes later it's 🌨 snowing.

Have a good weekend guys and happy Veteran's day to the vets.

Got a full set of Koni yellows going on the car this weekend. Got em on a 20% off fall sale going on right now if anyone else needs any. They're selling out though. I kept getting backordered so I had to cancel and re-buy from somewhere else 2 times. Got the rears from Summit and the fronts from Tire Rack.

Exactly, then there's the sand and salt all over the roads. I hate getting that crap on my trucks and cars. Hope to see you next season. Had a crazy busy year with downsizing and tons of reno's going on. I should get more track time in 2025.

I actually have some too that I used for about a year that I took for for coilovers if someone needs any.

Awesome. Maybe come up and run the big track? Living 15 minutes from Mosport is a track addict's dream!

Re: what did you do to your boss today?

I washed it. cleaned the engine bay. detailed the door jams and trunk under the hood etc. then I wiped it down with z8. cleaned the windows inside and out. vacuumed the interior. wiped the interior down with super vrt. sprayed the black plastic down with in and out spray. put meguires high endurance tire shine on the tires. you know the usual friday cleaning routine
I just put away my 2012 boss 302 LS for the winter, but do not like how it shifts lots of talk about trany fluid & additive? Any thoughts or help.

Appreciate the feedback Bill and Mad Hatter. I’m researching and planning on upgrading the brake setup next. Rotors, pads, fluid and stainless lines. Some folks here in SoCal are telling me I should give Willow Springs a go. Ordered “T” springs and an adjustable panhard bar.

Crappy part, 4 weeks out from a total knee replacement so paying for this stuff to get installed. :D
@dcpatters - yes, you should ABSOLUTELY give Big Willow a go. It's one of my favorite tracks. And, you don't need to upgrade the brakes at all - WSIR is not a brake intensive track. Come sign up for a NASA event. Our schedule is here.

NASA SoCal will be @ WSIR 15/16 March 2025. Hopefully, you're all healed up by then!

Come hollah!

Thanks for the details. Checked out the site and registered. Reviewed everything as well. Basically, I need a membership, and I’m all good?

Right side done, left scheduled for 6 January. Should be all healed by mid March.

They parked you next to the Yugo? Haiyaah!
Some thing French I think. Renault or Peugeot by the looks of it. Not much better then the Yugo in any case! My mechanic wore the Boss well, he beat the 800 hp ZL1-LE in the autocross and didn't crash the car so I am happy. tomorrow its off to the track.

Is this better company??

For the most part, yes - register with NASA, buy a membership, sign up for the April event.

Don't hesitate to find me and introduce yourself. It's always great to meet fellow TMO members, and new NASA folks.

I got some pretty tragic news. It might be irrelevant to most people but long story short I put a 13 boss cluster in my 12 boss 5 years ago and til today was not able to get parameters like cylinder head Temps, oil Temps etc. I took it to a local dealer about a year ago and the master tech tried a few things with no luck. The bad news came in the form of my red key. I tried to use it after the master tech worked on it and the key wasn't programmed anymore. He tried to reprogram it with no avail. I took it to Galpin auto sports and they called ford performance and they told us we a SOL! Apparently ford discontinued the red key and if you take you boss to the dealer they deactivate it! This sounds ridiculous but it's the words coming straight from the guy at GAS. I'm baffled, and womdering if it is even legal for a company to do that to my property?? Im thinking my only option now is to tune the car so I can use it at the track which I was reluctant to do.
