What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

Motive bleeder is great for a firm pedal, but is absolutely terrible if you don't evacuate the entire reservoir pressure pot. It always seems to lead to overflowing the MC a bit and no matter how fast I am, I cannot get the big syringe in there fast enough to stop it from happening.

Otherwise the Motive is like cheating.

Got one a while back, but went back to bleeding brakes the old fashioned way with a captive family member. Got better/cleaner results faster.

This is how I do it too.....the old "Pumpity pumpity pump....HOLD!"

Same here. The look on my wife's face when I ask her to come out to the shop for a "Leg Workout" is Priceless!! If fluid wasn't so expensive, Id bleed brakes more often. LOL.

My wife doesn't like to pump brakes and I don't really have anyone close to help. I can't pump and open bleeder screws by myself so I had to do something. I have used the Motive for years. It is slow but it works for me for fluid changes. If I am just bleeding the calipers a little I use a MityVac pump on the bleeder screws.

May be late for you but I have an MT82 removed from my Boss 302 with only 7k street miles from new. Complete with clutch. Second gear is bad. I am installing a Tremec. With such low miles the MT82 would make a great core to repair.
