Says the guy with the least amount of factory trim on any Mustang on this site.Could do something like this, small bracket coming out of a join between 2 dash parts that allows you to bolt a second part to.

I mounted mine where it sat in the middle right on the top of the dash and it did not interfere with my vision; in my case it occupied the same field of vision as my hood, so no loss of vision looking down the track. YMMV (see full post)
For track tires, tread depth is irrelevant. You'll know you need new track tires when one of two things happens.
1 - they heat cycle out (become hard and pace falls off)
2 - cords showFor pressures: gage by hot pressure, not cold pressure...
