I got the go ahead from Steeda since they are just barely kissing each other. I will see if things get better once it is buttoned up and aligned.
So my next question is this. If things stay the same, would it hurt to take a small half file and...
If I was to run it as it, I'd be far more tempted to leave the material in place and risk it making contact at full droop if anything, but still seems like something is off with the install.

Not sure if MCA has rental helmets or not. Hans is optional but highly recommended if using harnesses. Most hans are not compatible with oem seatbelts. The Simpson hybtid S is but kind of expensive. (see full post)
Here's a couple more noob questions for you. I'm reading thru the MCA event rules document and see that a helmet is required. They don't mention rentals, so I'm guessing they won't have them on hand and I need to purchase one? Note: Please don't... (see full post)
If you haven't purchased yet you might go with the 660+ instead.......easier tire to drive on for someone new as they telegraph much better and will be faster. Sure, they will wear faster but some drivers find the 615s to be rather uncommunicative.

If you need a new splitter, Kona, I can hook you up with a gentleman that makes them (factory reproductions). They're priced fair IMO, and made with the same material as OEM (1/4" ABS) - one side smooth, one textured. He has both WC and LS.I... (see full post)
Man, I'd love to come down for the ALS fundraiser, but I've got to watch my expenses too so I'll probably be making my maiden voyage on the track in August. (see full post)
I already have the 615+. I considered the 660+, but they were more expensive. Another benefit to the 660+ that was pointed out to me by a friend, is that they can be flipped on the wheel to get a little more life out of them.Once I wear out... (see full post)

Not quite today but Sunday-Installed 3.73 gears, T2 Torsen and 1 piece aluminum driveshaft into my 2014 V6 as well as some regular track prep, new pads, rotor scuff and put 1L of brake fluid through the system!
I haven't run the spec tire yet. Since I'm just starting out, I decided to go with Falken RT-615's since they are cheaper and I figured I would be burning though them while learning. (see full post)
