To be clear, there is a PCV on the hose that goes to the intake manifold (suction side) and the other side that goes to the breather tank is open and can breathe both ways.
Can you tell us how you figured that out?I have been trying to figure out what the stock pads are on my Dark Horse for a long time now. (see full post)
When you read lowering spring drop measurements, know that the result on every car will vary somewhat. Think of them as an estimate rather than something you can count on.
Here's a pic of 2 very nice TMO cars that I think is a good comparison in...
IMO find one of the Ford Performance kits, install it, and enjoy. Decent coilovers will run north of $5K, the ones on the S197s are Penskes at over $10K. The disadvantage far outweigh the advantages in maintenance alone, plus with a FP suspension...
This setup has run on 3 of our local TX cars with good success. It's similar to what Middleton does. Its a good start that calms down the chassis motions, has good grip and is fun and controllable with the power.Steeda dual rate springs...

That sounds like the way ill go but can I get more then 1 inch of drop with ford springs ? Although it sounds like if I only go 1 inch nothing else will be needed? (see full post)
I’ve used Bilstein sports and Koni yellows. Anecdotally I feel like the Bilsteins are stiffer on compression and a little harsher on the street. But no real data.
Thanks for the recommendation im looking on American muscle now at some of the kits . That way ill have the sway bars too. Sounds like ill need the pan hard bar and control arms as well. Only thing is the ford performance kits springs only... (see full post)
Thanks for the feed back man! That all black is sick on the Boss. I love the wheels on that green one in your pics. I think ill go with shocks and springs instead of cheap coil overs (see full post)
