IMO find one of the Ford Performance kits, install it, and enjoy. Decent coilovers will run north of $5K, the ones on the S197s are Penskes at over $10K. The disadvantage far outweigh the advantages in maintenance alone, plus with a FP suspension...

Agree with everything here. I got a trailer and carry an extra set and i’ve decided to go as far as get extended studs and 11” all around for the track and have a backup set. Tires seem to be my biggest issue i’ve discovered lol (see full post)
