Memorial Day weekend is here..... Too bad the great summer like weather we enjoyed earlier this week couldn't stick around a few more days.........Clouds today, with temps stuck in the 50's......rain later into Sunday.......Monday might be the...
When you read lowering spring drop measurements, know that the result on every car will vary somewhat. Think of them as an estimate rather than something you can count on.
Here's a pic of 2 very nice TMO cars that I think is a good comparison in...
I realize we don’t have corvettes but my shop did it and says it’s the same.https://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/specs/c8-corvette/2021-corvette/2021-corvette-track-preparation-guide.pdf
I had Bilsteins with FP springs in an 07 GT I owned. Good handling and control and very predictable on track, a bit harsh on the street on rougher roads. My 12 GT500 got Koni yellows and FP springs last year. I leave them set fairly soft for...
Installed the Maximum Motorsport K member with the Boss 302s delrin bushings in the original front control arms
I got Dean @ Kohr to remove the oem bushings and press in the delrin ones. Also installed the maximum Motorsport bump steer kit and...
Well... Not today...but...
Killed the original MT-82 @ COTA 2 weeks ago. And last weekend pulled that big awkward frozen b!7¢√ out. Note the weapon of choice to slay the beast is comprised of every extension I own (7) + that miserable swivel...

I pulled my front bumper yesterday and installed a tow hook and while I was in there cleaned about a cup of dead lovebugs out of my radiator. (see full post)
The 2mm clearance might be tight for the track depending on your tire selection. I've experienced some strut rubbing on the track with 25mm spacers, Apex 19 x 11 ET52 wheels and 305/30-19 Goodyear 3R's. I did not experience any rubbing with the...

Thank you! The 2mm clearance is with Apex 19x11 ET52 and Continental ECF 315/30/19. I first fit them with a 28mm spacer, and running -3.4 camber they seemed really close to the fender so I was worried they would rub under compression while... (see full post)
Ford Europe use different part numbers than Ford USA. This is the part number I have for rear brake pads: 2310233 hope this works for you. I ordered DSUno because they have a bit higher Mu than DS1.11. My tracks are also very aggressive on brake... (see full post)
Can I get more details on this from your build thread? Thanks..........."the fill level Tremec suggests for the DCT is to maximize fuel mileage. Tremec suggest an overfill for high HP track use, which PBD optionally did during the build. This... (see full post)
The 3160 is very good, but they're a bit weaker than a T56 Magnum. That's usually the go-to for Road Course work.Or you can really have some fun and go with a sequential

definitely tight. but deflection shouldnt cause an issue since it'll be back on the right part of the rim by the time it rotates up there. I've run with a couple of mm clearance. It could become a problem with taller tires that flex more, tho... (see full post)
I have a CFTP I’ve done just 5 days with and it doesn’t need anything from stock other than taking off the rain tray, brake fluid and an alignment to run A group pace other than lots of fuel. I do like the Carbotech pads in my build thread and... (see full post)
