Definitely can update on that, I'm doing 2 days at Sebring next month. I'm much more comfortable and familiar on that track so I'll be pushing harder than what I did in Atlanta. I am running Super Car 3s not the 3R's. Another friend of mine... (see full post)
If you do this each tire will only ever see 2 corners of the car.
I rotate after a full track day and like move the fronts to the opposite rear corner, and move the rears forward on the same side. With your starting point and 3 subsequent... (see full post)
If you have a square set up and rotate tires for more life, how do you do it?Right front to left rear, and converse, Left front to right rear, and converse, or something else? Front to rear? Or inspect and maybe do whatever you think best...

I don’t autocross anymore and although I’m newer to HPDE, it’s hard for me to get a less grippy tire than the 660 I’ve used. Back in the day I used to autocross a 4th gen F-body with 315’s at all 4 corners and a weight of about 3200lbs so I... (see full post)

I was using Falken 660’s in 305 square with 2022 date code, autocrossed in 2023, and they sat until 2025. So they weren’t great but had some grip left. I know it’s not best to make changes with non-ideal tires but they weren’t quite dead... (see full post)
@RobZ71LM7 Out of curiosity, which tire were you running? I am in a very similar situation as you, finding the car to be a little too unpredictable and oversteer-y in some longer sustained turns. I do have the Steeda rear sway bar, inherited from... (see full post)
That pic is a SC3, the 200tw tire, not a 3R.Check out around post #193 in this thread for discussion of 3R longevity. https://trackmustangsonline.com/threads/gt350-track-tire-options.9850/page-10#post-289645 (see full post)
It looks like you don't have the handling pack? from everything I've read it sounds like the non-HP cars' stock tire really nerfs the car on track and a tire upgrade really transforms the car.Did you lower the car at all? my wheel well gap... (see full post)
Local GT500 racer first set of SC3Rs was over 15 sessions (over 3 TT events) and still going strong on lap times, his car has good camber and mcs so well controlled, but driven hard. (see full post)
