What F00316 Means (IPC Engineering Mode)Instrument Cluster Specific: According to driver discussions on platforms like Reddit, F00316 appears inside the hidden engineering/diagnostic menu of the instrument cluster. [1]

Thank you Steve as always for the insight. I will see about a new battery. I put the car in ET mode and found a code related to battery but it shows has historic instead of current. Interesting findCode is F00316 (see full post)
Also try and unplug the connector on the alternator. Leave just the main charge cable connected. See if error goes away. The lithium battery doesn't act as a capacitor as well as conventional and AGM batteries do. A lot of Mustang racers run... (see full post)
Do you have the original alternator? If so swap it in. I will buy the Boss alternator from you if that is the issue, I do not think it is though. Did you swap an AGM battery in to test? If the car is running well with no other codes/warnings I... (see full post)
Sweet. You were looking good out there. There were some bad drivers out there you had to sort through, so good job. Luckily the #24 Gray pro-charged Camaro was out due to a mechanical by the end of the day. He was dangerous. He kept drag racing...
This is a stretch but does anybody have access to cable diagrams? I just swapped in an engine and am getting “Charging System Service Now” light. Battery is good. New alternator. New battery/starter harness. During idle, voltage across battery is...
As a quick update, after messing with Chris' config, I discovered the AIM 2011 ECU protocol is locked down and wouldn't let me add/tweak the CAN IDs to fit what we need, so I reverse engineered it with Codex and created one we can continually... (see full post)
I haven't been around in awhile but I think it's almost time for me to start making a comeback. I spent last weekend replacing the oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket/main seal, changing the diff fluid and resealing the housing, changing... (see full post)
Okay - I see that the config from AIM doesn't include the channel we need - raw fuel flow based on injector duty cycle. But I found where it should broadcastCAN ID (Hex): 0x116 (Standard 11-bit ID)
Byte Position: Byte 0 and Byte 1 (16-bit... (see full post)

MXG 1.3 Connected through OBD II plus Analog channels for oil temp/pressure/water, trans, and diff temps. ECU Protocol is the Ford GT350 V 2.00 (see full post)
Not sure this is accurate. I have split sensor signal wires before. You just have to leave the 5v ref on the second data logger/etc. disconnected. You splice the signal + reference ground on the back of the OEM plug and bob's your uncle (see full post)
I think we just need to create a custom can protocol or some math cannels for you. Fuel used should be available from ECU - we might just need to config the AIM software on what to look for and how to display. What's your setup? Are you also... (see full post)
