Well after 2 years on the stock brakes, figured it was time for a change. Picked up some Carbotech's!
Also going to try out the FP Springs for the TT Nationals next month
Installed the FP tie down brackets as well...**Note the fronts do not work with the BMR low profile jacking rails, which was ok with me as I use J-hooks and the factory tie down points. The rears do however mount fine, as they use a set of bolt holes that are behind the jacking rails, so no or strapping the wheels. So we are loaded and ready to run tomorrow and give the new brakes a test!
After the good track results with the new FP springs at TT Nationals, it was time to give them a go at AutoX.....so how did we do.....I think we did ok!! Looking forward to getting down to Barber this weekend as I have not had this car there yet.
My fastest run of the day...which was good for FTD, top PAX and the class win in CAM-C!
New bits....just in time to sit at home and look at them in the garage
Race Spec Signature Wheel Track Series SV501.
Built in a 19x11 square rotatable, and finished in Matte Black. Anti slip bead knurling ...Thanks to Terrance Sig!
and unboxed some of the Carbon Fiber goodness...huge thanks to Anderson Composites!!
-Anderson Type-OE 350R Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler including dogbones
-Anderson Carbon Fiber 350R Front Splitter
Absolutely amazing pieces!! Next up...doors and hood!
Great way to finish 2020 racing season with back to back TT Nationals wins in T2 class! Also managed top 10 overall! My first time ever at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and damn what a track, cant wait to go back as I know there is more time to be gained! This time it was the SCCA Time Trials Nationals Tour, and another great 2 day T2 battle. I somehow ran my best lap at the end(1:36:8), with some rather tricky, less than ideal, little slick track conditions.
