Looking to go to -3.5° up front (currently -3.0) and need another 1/3“ or so clearance to the inside. Don’t want to buy the cutting fixture, which will also entail me buying other tools, and want to do it quick and dirty if need be.

Any better way? Can it be done without removing the Vorshlag caster/camber plates and struts?

Yeah, I didn't want to just cut out the entire hole either. So, I got some metal cutting bits like this pic from Amazon.
I used a drop cloth then blew out debris when finished.

I cut the hex off strut. Not like anyone uses it anyway, buzzing off strut nut with an air gun (if/when).
In my case, did not want to hack up body on GT500. If it was a GT, I would have just cut hole bigger I suppose.
Plates themselves did max out @ 3.2 degrees, with the stock height CFTP springs.

2 Hole saws is really all you need. First one the same size as the current hole and the second your larger hole. Use the first one to cut a timber plug that you use as the centering for the larger hole saw. Same concept as the jig just simpler. Just take it slow until the holesaw defines its own groove first. Actually just take it easy all the way, no need to butcher it.

How do I control the debris?
2nd pair of hands and a vacuum cleaner while cutting. They are open to the elements anyway and usually collect their own rock and rubber pile.

Take the wheel off and stick a jack under the control arm, loosen the 3 strut nuts an lower to gain clearance. Can fully lower them and let them rest inside the wheel well, just watch the length on the brake lines if you do.

A hand file may be able to remove enough material. Place something in the strut opening to catch the material. Aluminum foil is easy to shape and can trap shavings then follow up with compressed air or a vacuum.

I cut a notch into mine with a dremel before moving up to a 3" hole saw for -3.5*. If you own a drill, I can send you this plate and the hole saw bit. It’s a roll cage floor plate with a 3” hole drilled through it to stabilize the hole saw when cutting through the tower.

Interesting to see so many different approaches for the same outcome.

Looks like the perfect option!

you can DM me your address, I have an S197 and a S550 loaner tools, I'm not sure if it fits the S650 or not. Also, if you use the tool, you really can't tell it's been cut at all
Thanks Blacksheep! I’ll keep that in mind.
