HPDE tires

If you do, then you have to make doubly sure that the barrel design will clear your massive brakes on the front. Not all 18" wheels will fit over them.
I understand i watched the video. Did not think it would work till i saw it. I’m sure Apex will sell me something lol

Please keep in mind you want the CRS- V2.........................big difference over the straight CR-S and if you find is " El Cheapo " it is the initial version. Tire Rack and other Dealers who focus on high performance rubber will note that the tire is Version 2!
Not sure what i want but this keeps coming up so i might try them. In anycase none will last very long so you won’t be stuck with them forever lol but im a buy the best you can afford guy so like
I mentioned saving a couple hundred bucks is not my primary concern. I’ve bought of tire rack before is that the “best” place to get them? Thanks gonna pull the trofeos off tomorrow and do an inspection i’ll post some pics

Actually that is incorrect as the Mustang Challenge runs a 19 inch Michelin slick, but Junkyard is correct that there the bulk of used racing tires are in 18s. The Ferrari Challenge runs a 19 in the rear , but these are big mothers. I would imagine we will be seeing more sizes in the future , but not at the present time.

I’m pretty certain the Mustang Challenge moved on from 19’s to 18’s after their inaugural year. I’m about to test some 315 30 18 Yokohama A052s at NCCAR this weekend..first time in the car. I purchased them as a cold transport and cold session tire. Also they’re likely more progressive option to acclimate on. I’ll report back with more thoughts.

Multiple posts on this forum with experience (steveespo and one other) said it is no better than and possibly worse than a standard 200 tw tire, which is why I did not mention them. They did not like that tire at all.

They did, but you can still find new in stock at a few suppliers. I passed on them after reading the comments here.

Right front. 16 sessions and 1100 total miles. I know needs more camber. Looks like i could get another half to one day out of them. Does this bolt on factory strut adjust camber? Should be a splined bolt and slot correct?

Clean all the clagg off the tires and rock and roll for another session.
One. front has a slight cut probably from some debris on track. Holds air fine when should I get worried about a slice? pic of left front. impressive factory ducting to brakes and oil cooler. Vorshlag deflectors right behind the ducts
