Its hard to go wrong with OEM parts when you're getting started with the exception of pads and upgrading brake fluid. My experience showed seat time would dictate what needed to be addressed.

I switched from R16/R12 to Ferodo DS.Uno/OEM Rear pads and it actually improved braking. Also better on the street though never tested the DS.Uno on street tires.
I used to run Ferodos and really liked them but the pricing became prohibitive. They increased to $450 ~covid and then went on backorder. They're now $700+ for a set of fronts in CONUS.

It's easier to source in Europe than in the States. Which is why I switched the Gloc's were causing my ABS to freak out more often than not which resulted in a hard brake pedal in brake zones which is not a fun experience. The DS.Uno with the OEM rears don't cause that behaviour so this actually made me quicker and the DS.Uno's are like 470$ here but when I factor in transport and taxes for Gloc's from states the DS.Uno is actually the cheaper pad. And not having brakes issues is an added bonus. I also just received booster and master cylinder from Rockauto as my master was leaking fluid so I hope that in the new season my brakes will be better than ever.
