Ok need to see if this is same tire with cut looks like factory setup might “rub” when you are on it

Yipes! But the "cut" is on the inside of the tire. Damage to the fender well liner looks to be to the middle-ish/outside-ish. No damage to oil cooler!

bnight has the magic formula we have all found --- square means quite a bit better life with a normal rotation procedure. With a Mustang those tiny tires up front just are not up to the dive under braking going into a tight turn.......can you say puuuuuuuushh!!
He has the Dark Horse, with 10.5" wheels up front and 305 Trofeos. So, while it is staggered, it is not like the GT performance pack staggered, and the front wheel and tire is nothing like the regular GT tire size. The rear on his Dark Horse is 11"

the rears on a Dark Horse handling packs are 11" but also the tire is 315 isn't it ? Otherwise that tire would have served very well as a rear tire was my point.
Yes, he was running 305 on the front and 315 on the rear, the tires Ford puts on the Dark Horse with handling package. 10.5" and 11" wheels.
The Trofeo RS 315/30R19 could fit up front with an 11" wheel. It has a very narrow tread width compared to that 315 size. Tread width is listed on Tire Rack as only 10.5"
Lots of other brands the 305 is a better choice, because the tread width is a lot wider than the Trofeo RS. For example, the Goodyear Supercar F1 3R is listed as 305/30 R 19, which should be narrower than a 315 Trofeo RS, right?
Nope.
It is 11.3" wide. So the other brand is .8 inches (almost an entire inch) wider tread in 305 than the Trofeo RS is in 315.

Too bad the Goodyear Supercar 3R does not come in a 295/30 R 19, because I would just keep the staggered OEM wheels and run those up front and 305 in the rear.

What is your specs on square 11” wheels? et52 with spacer ?
can you run a 305 on an 11” rim?
Not sure what sizing actually means but the same size pilot sport 4s appeared to be exactly the same size as the trofeos sitting side by side

And in the case of the Goodyear Supercar F1 3R, the tread width on the 305 is actually a little wide for an 11" rim. See post # 127.

My wheels are not square because I hate running spacers with a blind passion. I use a tire shop to rotate tires and most of the track days I visit have free tire service anyway. But I use a trusted shop manual labor in Bulgaria is cheap.
Fair enough. The only reason i’d consider is ti even out tire wear and save money. If that’s possible lol
I run 19x11 but the fronts are ET26 and the rears are ET52.
