Great race! I watched the first couple hours and then got up at 5:30 yesterday to watch the ending. First time I have made an effort to watch this race in a long time. I hope Ford stays with it for a few years.

Gosh it makes me proud to be an American, and a Ford 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Owner!

Great video and thank you ever so for posting.

All the Best,
302 Hi Pro

Great day for Ford and the U.S. I recall watching the the Ford/Ferrari battles live on what was then ABC Wide World of Sports when they had live coverage. I still can see one shot from a helicopter of the GT 40 running down the Mulsane straight at over 224 mph. (The straight didn't have a kink back then it was flat out for almost 3 miles.) As great at the new cars are they just don't sound as good as the early 289's and then big 427's

I watched this race on the internet, and some on fox sports 1. Damn, those Ford Gt's seem to have big motor on the top end. There aero package and motor was amazing. The TC they have on the Ford Gt cars was mind blowing.
