I'm tired of wheelin around in this wheelchair....ankle is great, but knee is bad!.......I want to take the Boss out next week by hook or by crook.....the hardest part will be getting in and out of the Boss with my BAD knee.............if you hear a sweet sound in the air, next week that means I made it.....................Forgot to add this song will be blastin and I will be screamin it, like the old days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rainy/showery all week.............tomorrow I may try to venture out in the Boss.....getting in I think I can manage.......getting out may be more of a struggle,,,bad knee is still BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...A willful mind is a powerful thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......and so is a Boss needing some exercise......................

Was watching the Mecum car auction from Indy today............2 Boss 429's on the block....bids got to over $200k but reserves not met........I'd hang on to mine too for anything less than $300K..........my Boss is not for sale for any price...................

TMS, Thanks for asking...Yesterday was the day I was gonna try and take out the Boss, but things didn't line up for that to happen..........My ankle is F I N E fine....my knee is bad as in BAD as in can't walk without help bad........I didn't realize it was that bad until the no weight restriction with my ankle was lifted and I was able to walk again.I may be going under the knife again before this plays out.........at least I'm home and enjoying my new bathroom.................

Still haven't driven the Boss since early March........I know I can slide in it but getting out may pose a problem with my bum knee.Going to my primary (substitute Rookie Doc) Fri....My Reg Doc I've had for over 35yrs is out on Med Leave.........This sounds like a setup for .........you fill in the blank........I need a handicap sticker just to get to the freakin docs visits!!!!!!!!!!!!..pardon my french, but my frustration is starting to shine thru.....on a brighter note, My Boys are spending the nite thru Saturday with me and grandma. Son is Best man at His Best Friend's wedding and is treating Him to a Bachelor party in Houston, Tx this long weekend........They're paying Son TOO much money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heel, ankle, foot with crap knee on the same side took close to 1 year to come close to feeling 60% so, patience my good man, patience !!!

I was supposed to be zipping around on after knee surgery in around 6 weeks and instead it took 8, and I did not start climbing stairs ( normally ) until this week. I was slow ascending, just one step at a time either up or down. The motto is simple, " If you over 60 you are tired and you get retired over and over!" You are still plugging along and that is the important part..........appreciate the update Roberto!!

Bill, Our days of running marathons may be over..........I just want to be able to drive and walk to the grocery store and get what I need....I haven't been out of the house since I got home from rehab (4/21).........not even to get the newspaper in the driveway...............Oh, I forgot, Hon took me to the ankle ortho with my walker 5/3..........wheelchair is too much to try and carry

I woke up this A.M. in a better mood than when I went to sleep last nite.Woke up with the Boys greeting me, along with some bright sunshine.Some ominous clouds are moving in now, but can't dampen my spirit.........Son sent me this before He left for Houston this morning..........just in time, I haven't heard it in yrs..

Beautiful day today!!!!!!!!!!!!.....Plenty of sunshine........ Temp 76....dew point settling down to the low 50's from the high 60's yesterday.....This is setting the stage for "I gotta get in that Boss TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!....The Doc gave me a cortisone shot in the knee Friday.....I don't know how long the benefits of that will last, so Tomorrow is the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........Man I am due!!!!!!!!!
